Mission Agency Partnerships Coordinator
Overview
The role is based out of Atlanta, GA with the ability to work on site and from home on a regular basis. The purpose of the Mission Agency Partnerships Coordinator is to drive relational development, strategic implementation, and ongoing evaluation of GFM’s partnerships with like-minded missions organizations, sending agencies, and institutions. This role works to expand GFM’s collaborative footprint by strengthening existing partnerships and cultivating new ones that align with GFM’s mission and values. This ministry position may be part-time or full-time and support-raising is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership Development: Expand GFM’s organizational footprint through intentional partnerships with mission agencies, sending organizations, and like-minded institutions.
- Partner Communication: Prepare and distribute Global Partners updates to key personnel within partner organizations and respond to communications in a timely and professional manner.
- Partnership Evaluation & Agreements: Assess, update, and renew Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) and Articulation Agreements, making adjustments as needed and discerning which partnerships should continue.
- Partner Engagement & Hosting: Invite mobilization, training, and leadership teams from priority Global Partners to visit GFM training locations regularly and host them with intentional hospitality.
- Travel & Representation: Travel to conferences and Global Partner headquarters to strengthen relationships, increase mutual understanding, assess partner needs and structures, and recruit training participants for GFM.
Required Qualifications
- Must personally embrace GFM’s purpose, vision, values, and statement of faith.
- Must identify as a maturing believer in Jesus Christ with a high view of Scripture (2 Tim 3:16–17; Col 3:16–17).
- Must demonstrate humility, teachability, and an ability to work well with others (Eph 4:15).
- Must display advanced interpersonal relational skills and be dedicated to peacemaking (Heb 10:24–25).
- Must function effectively both independently and in a team environment (1 Cor 12:25–26).
- Must be able to use or learn internal communications and technology systems (Email, Google Drive, Slack, Salesforce, etc.).
- Must be prepared to experience significant missions training and discipleship through GFM’s Missionary Training School (in person or online).
Recommended Experience
- A College Degree is preferred but not required; informal training in management, organization, leadership, and/or ministry is also acceptable.
